PRIVACY

Your information, handled with care.

This notice explains what personal information we use when you browse our website or contact us about a project. Consent and measurement sections updated 26 October 2026.

01 / WHO WE ARE

Who is responsible?

URBAN WINDOWS AND DOORS LTD (registered in England and Wales, company number 17193647) is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us at info@urbanwindowsanddoors.uk or write to our registered office at Suite 8, Trafalgar House, 47–49 King Street, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 8PS.

02 / WHAT WE COLLECT

Information you choose to give us.

When you make an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, product interest and any project details you add. If you use the visualiser, an enquiry may include your chosen finish, style or design summary. If you email us, we keep the contents of that correspondence. Please do not include bank details or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

The website and its hosting may also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages requested and security logs. If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, they may collect cookie identifiers and information about how you use the site; see our cookie policy.

03 / WHY WE USE IT

Purposes and lawful bases.

04 / WHO RECEIVES IT

Service providers and sharing.

We may use website hosting, email, customer relationship management and other technology providers to handle enquiries and operate the site. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads for website and advertising measurement, subject to your cookie choices. Meta Pixel may be used for advertising if enabled with appropriate consent controls. We do not sell your enquiry details.

If you allow marketing cookies and submit an enquiry, we use Google Ads enhanced conversions to help measure whether enquiries follow advertising. Your email address and, where available, phone number are converted in your browser into one-way SHA-256 hashes, and those hashed values are shared with Google for matching. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. A temporary copy of the hashes is used once to connect your form submission to its success page; it is valid for two minutes and is removed on the next page or when marketing consent is withdrawn. Your original contact details are separately used to respond to your enquiry.

You can reject optional cookies or change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences. Under Google Consent Mode, limited cookieless measurement signals may still be sent when optional consent is denied, but our enhanced-conversion email and phone hashes are not sent. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Where a project requires another supplier or installer, we will explain any relevant sharing to you. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to establish or defend legal claims. No finance application data is collected through this website enquiry form.

05 / INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

Where data may be processed.

Some technology providers may process data outside the UK. Before enabling them, we will check their locations and use an appropriate UK transfer mechanism where required. The provider list and any transfer details must be checked against the live services in use.

06 / HOW LONG

Keeping information.

We keep enquiry and correspondence records only for as long as needed to respond, manage a project, meet legal and accounting duties, or deal with a dispute. Unconverted enquiries should be reviewed after 24 months from the last meaningful contact. Contract and accounting records may need longer retention. We will review these periods against the systems actually used.

07 / YOUR CHOICES

Your data protection rights.

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your data; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent where consent is our basis. Contact us at info@urbanwindowsanddoors.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.

08 / CHANGES

Updates to this notice.

We will update this page when our services, providers or data practices change. The review date at the top shows when the text was last checked.
